If x is a positive integer less than 10, is a multiple of 7 ?
(1) x is a factor of 24.

(2) x is prime.
a. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) ALONE is not sufficient.
b. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) ALONE is not sufficient.
c.BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient. d.EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
e. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

I feel answer to be A

A) Since x < 10, to be a factor of 7 we should check whether x = 7 or not..
x is a factor of 24 means x is not 7 ...
Hence A is sufficient.. .

B) X is prime Hence Can be 7 or 2,3,5 .. Not suffficient..
