While the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and Great Lakes, Chennai, use GMAT, four IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Lucknow) use it for their executive management programmes. Some Indian Bschools use the scores only for foreign students. In all, 18,950 students in India took GMAT last year, while 2.46 lakh students appeared for the test worldwide the same year. India saw a 42% rise in the number of students writing the test.It will get tougher as the english used in GMAT is of advanced version.

Programme details
It is a post-graduate programme in management and includes a four-week teaching term at McGill University, Canada [Images], for compulsory coursework.
Programme is meant for executives from corporates/ development sector, entrepreneurs, consultants, professionals, defence personnel and civil servants, to prepare them for leadership roles in the global environment.
The Institute would facilitate placement of non-sponsored candidates.
Eligibility
~ Executives with Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent
~ GMAT score obtained from July 1, 2008 to November 1, 2008
~ Minimum of six years full time, post-qualification professional experience, as on March 31, 2009
